thanks Marguerite, that is a really beautiful foliage hebe which had all the top growth killed off in storms a few years ago, I cut it back and left the root in the hope it might regrow, it has very slowly, I took some cuttings last year but they did not take I will try some more this year, we are back to rain today! Frances
